Yeah I like how the wishing for ninth stops cold when age of sigmar gets released hah. I just realized.. now that my dwarfs are gone.. and my 40k is gone.. I only have historicals........ and x wing )

yeh there was a mix of, excitement and worry about ninth.. and then AoS happened and radio silence,

and the event has a 125 wound limit for the org.. which I find a little silly, because I don't think a goblin wound can be compared to a chaos warrior wound.. unless there is a wound multiplier..

Yeah, but FoW counts a platoon of 2 Italian AA guns(65 pts) the same number of victory points as 3 King Tigers (1000+pts) for scoring....... so who knows, right?

Yeah, that is an area I hope they tweak in a V4....its too easy to pick off a light platoon for the 4-3....

It kind of works... yes the KTs are impossible to bring down but if you take a unit like that, they can't kill a whole lot and then there's a lot of easy scraps to pick off. I think it would make the KT list even better if they scale the VPs for those types of platoons.

I like how the VPs for platoons works, it means that if you take a little AA unit you might be giving up an easy VP. but if you wan tot take it take it and protect it..

Well chaos warriors are all multi wound so that's one thing. And the abilities of said units is another.

Honestly Age of Sigmar is getting more of a bad rap because of the Internet. The few people playing it seem to think it's pretty balanced and a tonne of synergy between units.

Our group chose Kings of War, and it's good too but I really don't think AoS is that bad and as soon as the Internet either gives up on making fun of it, or moves on to something else I could see it doing well.

time will tell, but its not ranked battle, which is what WHFB players wanted.. there is no strategy and movement the way old WHFB had or the way KoW has now..

they through away a good thing.. no one here is saying AoS is bad what they are saying is its not waht peopelk wanted from a fantasy wargame..
