iirc they have FA:3 so they also make for decent anti-inf platforms (due to their high RoF). And I'm not sure what else could be taken for the pts cost.

True, ALthough the more I think of it, the relatively lighter tables terrain-wise would benefit A/C a lot more than what we normally run

AirCraft i think, or air conditioning... no terrain means planes are free to kill whatever they want.

Planes got better, and with 2 people making lists, I assumed that planes would be prevalent. Also, it allows my team mate to not worry about anti-air, and adds some anti-infantry options to us - meaning we dont need to take HMG teams or the like.

I'm not 100% sold on the list, but it is an excuse to buy/paint Wirbelwinds and repaint my Panthers......

The list has a really good synergy with Prip's. Anything that can clear out your AFVs, like in last game, will have issues with the FJs.

Only think I'm not sure about is your combined list -- if you are considered armoured you will be forced to attack vs inf w/o any recon.

We know we are lacking Recon and we probably should add some. Although both of us are OK with including some weakness(es) in the list. Can one player's recon teams lift GtoG for the other's teams?

btw: we made a small mistake w/ the Wirbelwinds last game. If FoF >= 6 then you get 3 shots on the move (p91).
