ghq moderns anyone?

So I popped into sentry box.. they have a lot of moderns box sets.   Brit mech brit tank. Israeli tank (merkavas and amxs)  russian tanks t80 and bmp 2  then a lesser russian one with t72 and bmp1  iraqi army set with saladin armored.cars and t72s.   Us euro m1s and bradleys.. iraq version of it then a usmc version.. then they had all helo us.   Hilariously the brit mech list had three vehicles from armored warfare:  scorpions swingfires and warrior.afvs

So I was looking at the GHQ site and saw $12 for a cent 1 -- wtf? Oh wait... 5 models per pack.

Ah...


TBH until I have the rules in my hand and see the lists I can't commit. Though I think micro armour is slightly more intriguing than YAFQ YAFG (yet another flamesofwar game)

I figure matt would come back all fired up for ghq seeing as that's how most of the wwpd crew are doing moderns   I didn't buy anything.    The other disadvantage of ghq is the obly terrain we would have are the dropzone commander buildings.    But next year I am willing to go balls out and buy a bunch of terraina nd two armies.. just gonna finish my team yankee stuff first
