Alternative Game Systems Empty Alternative Game Systems

Seems like people are looking around at options for game systems. I thought it may be good to make a thread for it instead of hijacking other threads about FOW v4 all the time.

I looked at Wrath of Kings and while the rules look good I'm not a huge fan of the miniatures. I did find this review which made me wonder about [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Does anyone have experience with that?

None here

I keep bouncing between Dark Age and Wrath of Kings this past week, watching games, reading, etc.. I leaned towards Wrath as Kevin has already played it and has models... the sci-fi "mad max" vibe of Dark age is pretty cool. I tried to get into Infinity, but found it just too dense.

I was never a big fan of Bloodbowl, I find sports mini games haven't traditionally held my interest, so while I'd like to try guild ball, I don't see myself "sticking with it" based on what I've seen online.

That thread seemed to be more focused on what to play on FNF. I haven't really been to one so it seemed rude to impose my opinion on the games played there.

I'm sticking with Team Yankee/FoW for now. Seems we all are just finally getting a game we all play, not looking to start the cycle of new games again.

I still have and play 40k/30k and AoS for my 28mm fixes.
