My brother is down in Qatar right now, and he went out to Saudi to get me some authentic desert sand, so I can base my DAK in legit sand I might put small amounts on the bases of my Desert Rats too, if the grit is fine enough. It should be. I know its not sculpting my own stuff or anything, but at least the sand will be real haha.

Sounds pretty cool to me. I wonder what they will think about it at customs, has to be a joke about packing sand up your ass in there somewhere I am sure.

He is mailing it to me. He sent me video last night of them out in the desert, getting it. Lets put it this way, I wouldnt want to get lost in that desert... it was like a scene out of Lawrence of Arabia, but with more wind. He was saying a bigger problem in Qatar is the working class (ie, ppl not from Qatar) stealing stuff from the owners like jewelry and bringing it back to their home countries. Because they are going to Denmark, and not somewhere like Bangladesh or Kenya, they should be ok at customs.
