Bob is garnering interest,, 1000 pts or so to start, but that next year the Pet tourneys will be EW, then MW, then LW. I am 100% behind this..

I'm in. I have have a 1500 pt force half painted, so I'll have to chop something. I am using the Jock column list, but painting them up as BEF kilted highlanders.

If we go 1000 pts, then I have to drop Jock Campbell. And I don't want to lose my Jock.

If they run it, use the points system in place or don't bother......would be kind of silly to have a regulation point event for MW and LW but not EW.....it's not a huge difference!

It is acceptable if it means folks that have nothing painted now can get something done by then.  Its easy if you have brits are germans, you dont need many models, but what if you were doing EW Jap's or French or Poles?  1000pts CAN take a while to paint up if you have lots of infantry or cheap, useless tanks (British )

I think lower points is good for a first tourney. EW are said to take a bit longer then normal anyways and add in people getting used to the era and having to paint entirely new forces, it all adds up to make more sense at a lower points level.
