Yeah I remember making lists with Old Ironsides in v1 and being annoyed all the 'cool' stuff was Late War only. I even went so far as ordering the Sherman Calliopes from battlefront when they were green boxes only to get an email back saying they had just disco'ed them. Didn't know if have to wait like 6-7 years to get models again Sad

I seem to remember a Pershing model back then but can't be sure.

"It is [ed: plastic tiger] seventh in the list and being tooled soon for a release towards the end of the year.

We have one vehicle a month and several infantry codes coming out as well this year but the order was selected based on book releases so Panther's and Tiger's are later this year and Pershing's and Sherman's are very soon." -- JP

No offence, but how in the actual f@#k are a crap list like my free french out of either Road to Rome or the PDF list supposed to compete with stuff that was way better, AND cheaper/? And did we really need yet another LW book? I'll give it a giant PASS. So sick of LW and so looking forward to early war in Pet, where everything hasnt been overdone to death.

Whoa settle down Tristan...err...Den, lol. We have no clue what the points values are or what rules anything will have. Nothing so far in late war has been completely unstoppable, even the better lists are still beatable and crushable by certain lists. That said I don't think they play tested with the super popular French lists, lol.

EW has bad elements too and if anything is ridiculously bad in the new LW books battlefront has shown they are willing to correct it.
As for another LW book now? It's the only main part of the whole war not really covered by anything so it would make sense for them to want to continue the trend, and it's the most popular I'd imagine because everyone gets new toys.

Seriously don't get 40k fanboi ragey, the books aren't out!

I guess I'm just tired of seeing all the space marines, errm, US lists all the time when MW especially needs some love, thats all.

True but historically that's how it happened. No US in EW, limited lists in MW and finally a lot of lists/involvement in late war.

As a US player I've been waiting years and years to finally get all these toys that most of the other major powers have had forever.
