Fate of a Nation

Looks like the Middle East is getting the full softcover treatment:

A one page spread in WI this month showing a full £18 of Fate of a Nation. Must be selling pretty well to get a full book.

That's pretty cool to hear. I think it just being somewhat modern helps it sell well. Interested to see what more the book adds!

So modern but not too modern... sort of like the Goldilocks of tank warfare?

No I think it's a gateway to greater things for BF and people are supporting it because A) the models look awesome and B) if it's successful it means more time periods are likely to be expanded on Smile

True... but since this is an AIW specific sourcebook I"m not holding my breath for Leopard 1s...

And I wouldn't either, but the more successful this is, the more BF will be likely to expand

I think the greater question is: Are the lists cross compatible with Vietnam? If not, then , no offence, but they are idiots.

I assume there's a chance that all of the armoured lists are but all of the aircav and insurgents, etc... probably not.

Well I wouldnt mind trying them out D.. you can run your Israeli's and I can run a NVA list out of the Tour of Duty.. its not that far fetched as lets say British fighting Cdns on a Soviet table (possible LW match-up at a tournament!!)

I guess the real test is to crack open both books and compare prices.
