I tried to keep it. The ship itself is beautiful. However it has a crappier loadout than the Chester.. and the upgraded Chester guns have the same damge output. Sold for a South Carolina.

BTW ZEE GERMANS ARE COMING this fall... Gamescom 2015 in Koln last weekend had some teaser pics. I'm at work else I would link. Apparently they are very heavily armoured. Wonder if the 'Horst Wessel' will be in the game... (this ship is now the USCGS Eagle, still in service to this day.. a Nazi war prize.. so named because the massive nazi eagle prow holding a swastika is still there, but holding a Navy Shield now hahaha)

Looks like the client is getting completely redone; resources are being packed from thousands of files into common resources. Looks like it will reduce loading times by 10-50%.

Complete redownload but there' still that. No eta on Brit ships though.

Does wows have characteristics per line? If so how would you characterize the German cruisers?

german cruisers are rapid fire gunboats, with ultra low range torps that fire individually, but with a high reload speed. Use islands for cover, WIN. The DDs are pretty much same, way faster torp reload though...

They are fun.. Jap DDs are stealthers.. they can fire torps and still be undetected, whereas german ones need to get closer, and you have to manouvre or you die, but if you can do this, you get lots of hits and torps in.

Yep, Tier 8 is F2P Bismarck. Tier VIII is the end of the real ships (unless russian) and the rest are usually paper ships. There are some exceptions like USA its all for real, Japanese battleships , the Yamato is tier X, their destroyers are all real up to Tier X as well.

Just a heads up for anyone who has this installed. There is an april fools joke ship in your ship 'hangar' if you log in this week. You can't drive it, but after the week is up, it disappears and and you are left with a free ship slot. It is commanded by someone named RussianBias lol and is a Type SH Diesel Submarine Smile

nah its a russian submarine crewed by snowmen. But hopefully, itll become the Pandarian's of WOW, where enough times they are April Fools jokes and then they put them in, would love to see submarines in WOWS. Oh, what ISNT a april fools jokes is the french navy is coming 'soon' in the tech tree. Id like to see the RN filled out before we see the greasy french Smile
