Uh, yeah....

Mondau night - 9:30 pmEST

We had 3 large carts full of cheese packs(like 18 total), we moved to the shoreline in Hay...loaded all the packs onto Cabe's merchant ship. I took control of the radar and the scope was clear.......

~2 minutes into the trip, which was short, just into Golden Palace harbour in Sanddeep, I spot a ship on the scope - a cutter, Invisible INC guild (pirate),

I call it out and mark it, but they are gaining on us fast....we make it to the harbor just as a bunch of Goon Squad guys fly in on top of us from the harbor - the ambush is sprung.

We killed a few, but we wiped. They stole Cabe's ship and headed out to see with all the trade packs. We pursue a short distance and come across a fleet of 3-4 Goon/Invisible ships and we see them unloading the packs onto their boats, all the while using cannons to destroy Cabe's ship. With his ship sunk, we mount a raid on one of their boats, kill a few, but they out number us at least 3-1.

All told, estimates were between 400 and 500 gold worth of trade packs were stolen and then traded in by the pirates. Suffice to say our guild has "green lite" Goon and Invisible Inc  - we can purple them at will now, since they are technically our faction....

It was something that can only happen in a game like AA though!!

ArcheAge threw a double XP party last weekend, but because of multiple down times that stretched beyond 10 hours, residents of the Aranzeb server were short-changed. Trion is therefore running another game-wide double XP weekend from July 24th through July 27th, and the firm is also compensating Aranzeb players with additional bonuses that include extended patron time, labor potions, and reward coins.

Trion community manager Celestrata says that the compensation items should be on your account as of today. If not, you should contact the ArcheAge customer service team.

so good news,

my elven chick is now a ranger, and I have a strange bunny kangaroo to ride around on, although, it is mostly useless, I can run faster then it, and I cant fight when im riding it..

Anyway I am progressing should be able to head out onto the open waters soon

Good job Andrew! I'm just about to level 50 myself after the two double xp weekends. Managed to get a good Armour set last night and some decent weapons. Gonna start farming the tokens soon to get the bow and sword.

I look forward to actually meeting up with someone in the game and doing a quest with them..

(and by "doing a quest with them" i mean following them around on my Bunny-Kangaroo.. now if i could shoot my bow from my Bunny-Kangaroo that would be sweet)

You can fire from your mount you just need to level the mount up more. I think I can do three attacks on my mount now.
