With 1.2 hitting us SOON©️®️™️ you had best read the following.
HEAT Counter
100% in 1.1 now becomes 65% in 1.2 – this is more logical as going over 100% means damage, so to clarify...
You will now receive heat damage when your heat is >= 100%
A warning to scoopers – 98% is pushing your luck in 1.2, try to keep around 80%

NO CHANGES to your ship's tolerance to heat, just the way the numbers are displayed - Now you can be sure of when damage is coming @ 100% for all ships.

TLDR, where now you get warned at 100% but only take dmg at 145%, now you take damage at 100% and get warned at 65%. This makes more sense this way, but I just dont want you to melt your Python your first time scooping once 1.2 hits Smile (THOUGH I WOULD LAUGGGGGGHHHHHH)

i usually stop at about 90% heat and just cruise at 30 km/h when I fuel scoop.

I don't understand why they are changing the heat value, your ship can take up to 100% heat without damage, over 100% should then damage your ship because its beyond its capabilities ie above 100%...

That's just it they arenr changing s thing.. just the values. You get a warning now at 100 and tske dmg at 145. They just changed the values so old 100 is new 65.. and old 145 is now 100. Think like water freezes at 0 and 32 degrees dependingnon celsius or Fahrenheit

that's what i mean the values, a battery doesn't explode when its 100% full its explodes at 120% your ship should be able to hold 100% heat capacity only over 100% that should it take damage. I know its just the numbers shown but right now it makes sense from a realistic stand point.

Who knows maybe enough idiots complained....? 1.2 is slated to go live tonite or tomorrow.. so you can spend your millions on a Vulture (bruiser fighter) or Fer-de-Lance luxury fighter.

i'm no where near a station atm, sold my python and bought an asp and headed out to the witch head nebula. Claiming some solar systems, though slim pickings out here, might head elsewhere.
