New Guy (Kevin)

Hey,

I'm not entirely sure if this is the place to post and intro, but it seemed to be the most appropriate place. My name is Kevin Kwok, and I just moved to Ottawa to attend the University of Ottawa (though I am required to take classes at Carleton, so will be over there regularly). I went to the Eastern Canadian Nationals for Flames of War a few days ago and met a few of the guys (Rob, Dennis, and Matt). I mostly play FoW, Malifaux, Warmachine/Hordes, and Dust Tactics, but dabble in many other games.

Not sure what else to say, so I hope to meet the rest of you guys in a bit.

Nice to meet you.. how did your tiger list make out in the end? I faired ok vs the 7 panthers but not so well vs 3 tiggers

I do play KoW, but I left my army in Alberta. Probably will go visit the family over Christmas, so I'll grab it when I visit.

My tigers did not too bad. Only won one game. Should have had two other games, but I let one tiger holding an objective get needlessly killed so infantry could capture my objective the turn before I got his. And the other time, I bogged my tiger and got assaulted by panzer grenadiers, opening up my objective again. Otherwise, lots of fun. Playing only four tigers makes you feel like each of your guys is a movie action hero on his own. So it was a lot of fun to play.

I think I ended about 4th last? So not too far off from you Andrew. Lots of Tigers at this tournament! Though, two Panthers wrecked me, eh Matty?

Definitely. Currently debating whether to play that Canadian list I showed you at Nationals, or if I should play a 31 T-34 Tankovy list, or Hero Heavy Tankovy list for it.
