Anyone want anything from Sentry Box?
For family reasons, I have to haul myself back out to Calgary next week. Which means Sentry Box. I plan on buying some 1/289 (or whatever the 6mm scale is from GHQ) moderns. I have playing Armored Warfare to thank for this. Anyone want anything from Sentry?

Well, I am pre emptivly getting the cool thing now. SInce Matt follows whatever the WWPD guys do religiously, I figured he would jump on their bandwagon to run Team Yankee in 6mm
My very first wargame back in 1986 was Naploenics in 15mm scale. My second wargame was moderns in 6mm scale. May as well get back to my roots

Interestingly, I've zero interest in historicals at the moment - that may change, but I like the escape that fantasy/sci fi brings to the table.
Perhaps I should take another look to Ininity or some other smaller skirmish game to for my non-xwing needs.....Dropzone was a ton of fun....

I think it gives more dynamic play (more movement) at cost of less interesting models

KoW was a lot of fun, but it has sorta fizzled out a bit..
I was hoping that the tourney would have kicked up more interest but it hasn't really..
I am still very much interested in Flames luckily at a minimum there are the pet tourneys to keep me playin
I will have to see where moderns goes, i'm not opposed to it, just dont really want to jump into a game for a few months..

I like Infinity because it is completely different. Likewise I might be more interested in 6mm moderns, tbd...

So Duane, if I see British 6mm moderns I am to get you the whole kit right? Naturally, old chap!

Is there plastic models or only oddly shaped GHQ metals?

The rules intrigue me -- the models do not.

How is Firestorm Armada? Those space ship models are cool - but really, I have Xwing for space ship battles....
Re: Anyone want anything from Sentry Box?
Firestorm Armada is pretty good. It actually caught on fairly popular in Calgary/Edmonton Alberta.
