There's no issues with Division, the weekly runs are great. The content is better than destiny, they do their updates at off peak times instead of during packed server times on weekends. I like destiny, but divisions storyline is better and you actually know what's going on. Unless you're Dennis, cause he just power clicks through it all.

If all you care about is the pve up to 20? (and not about the endgame) then yes I think the Division looks interesting. If you guys had bought the game on PC then I most likely would have picked it up as well. But they can't seem to release content without mass exploits and the itemization still has issues.

It would have been good if we all bought the same consoles lol. But some people like PS4 and others Xbox. Buying PC would have solved it all

PC gaming is dead to me. Started playing shooters on console years ago. I loved PC gaming, but aim bots and as Duaner mentioned, exploiting and hacks.

The bottom line is anyone can write an article comparing games. It doesn't make it true for me. Only gameplay, and for myself.....Division is more fun.

Tried Division. Nope.

Destiny is STILL fun 18 months later. That is what matters to me.

And yes, we all should have coordinated consoles, but really, it comes down to what time people are online, and it would be sparse anyways.

I have both, and never turn on the xbone - go figure.

I'm looking to actually pick up Diablo 3 - on PS4 - ive read the interface/controls is superior on console over PC, and there isnt the hack/cheat issues, like Division.

PC gaming is setting the standard in ass hattery now, with script kiddies and botting programs, consoles tend to not have these issues, and I can use it on my 4k TV

Yeah matt we can't really talk.. were noy tryhards doing 100k dps were just casuals who didn't power level. I persoanlly can't put my finger on why I enjoy div more than destiny.. though you take the setting out and look at the mechanics.. they are the same game. Except dark zone. That is where div really shines. You know how I hate pugs.. but its hard soloing thos guys when not at max lvl.. so grouping is encouraged. Ill also throw in that inwas super surprised how decently elite dangerous works on the console. The upcoming patch to customise controls more will fix any remaining issues I have. I also lvled a diablo iii toon to higher than my pc account on xbox. Though mmos are still pc for me. Ill have to patch up diablo and see the new rifts or w/e they call it now.

I think destiny is a good game, but there's no feeling of completing anything for me. The huge 'raid' type missions for gear is really all they are in the end because the storyline is so messy, I don't even know what it is. You're not working towards any sort of end game, at least in my eyes. The Division's crafting system and skill tree setup crushes the destiny equivalent, or lack thereof.

Always had Xbox in my house, I guess because HALO was better than anything PlayStation could offer me as far as games went, sure I've played uncharted, and a few other PS only titles over the years, but not good enough to make me switch, my gaming with EA sports has a bigger following on Xbox, only morons think they can see minute differences in bull shit stats about pixels and other useless visuals. 780 or 1080, fps The only thing that matters in games, is gameplay. If it looks 4K but plays like ET, who cares. I'd buy and play Dragon Warrior on a new console if I could, or the first mechwarrior. Remember that game?

It's consistent with with what I've seen and read, not just one guy. And these aren't PC hacks either. Fundamental issues with boss encounters.

Anyways... The whole point of the thread was about the psychology of loot grinders. The talk was about how RNG n loot drops isn't fun for gamers, no tangible progress. And all the big talk about how inferno 'will be impossible' was only attrsctivev to a few people. Most wanted epic characters.

Picked up D3 on PS4 - only lvl 15, but loving the controls and playing on the big screen.

I'd love to.. excep I'm not buying it a third time lol. It is excellent on the big screen. There are a tonne of semi famous voice actors... phil lamarr from pulp fiction / madtva bunch of characters.. some minor guy from game of thrones is in it.. but the best is the old chinese guy from big trouble in little china.... plays thenold chinese gem embezzler hahah
