It was obvious to everyone (well except for the Leafs' management) that Kessel was just burnt out and needed a change of pace -- rather than being washed up crap. He's just not the outgoing sports jock that can carry a team, amazing complimentary piece though. Too bad they won the draft and got Austin Matthews.

I think the Finn Lainie will be better. Cdns always have their red and white colored goggles on when it comes to Cdn talent.
