Any former Blood Bowl players here at all??

Checking out Guild Ball as a football/soccer fix for a board game. Curious to see the interest level and whether or not anyone has watched any videos or reviews.

I actually jumped into this a while ago... I really don't like Blood Bowl, and picked up DreadBall but never did anything with it. That being said, I really like Guild Ball. It's more like warmachine and Malifaux got smashed together, and you can tell that since the game was designed by warmachine and Malifaux players to play between tournament matches. I already got a mostly painted Mason's team, and picked up a Butchers one.

It plays more like Warmachine if your team consisted entirely of 6 super solo's or toned-down warcasters, with a ball.

Guild Ball Season 3 is just kicking off. Ottawa-Gattineau community is still going really strong. Lots of tournaments.

Rawr... We use it to post tournaments and events... Most the events are at FDB and Wizard's Tower...

Currently there is a Season 3 Tournament on Sunday at 12pm at Wizard's Tower. Come by to check it out. I probably won't make it out.

I'd rather be shown a game/run through a demo. The Alchemists look cool to me...but I need yet another game like a hole in the head as my dad would say...
