28mm Napoleonic?

So I was talking to Rob and he mentioned about getting some more 28mm Napoleonic games going.

I was just wondering what spread of armies are out there in the club, what rules set you're using, and how many points are you playing at/ would like to play at?

We use Black Powder right now.. and so far me and chris caron play french.. any time period... and scott has british and portuguese... rob plays kings german legion mark has brunswickers and david rawes has some british going too. Scott has russians on the go.. and in a month is tje 3rd supplement Clash of Eagles..

Yeah, same. I got an upsettingly large British army in 15mm. But it seems like most are going the 28mm route.

No what happened was, as is the norm, we all got excited about a game at Historicon, picked a ruleset that was... a bit weird.. and it never went anywhere. Then a year later, Scott rolls into town with 28mm, so some have sold the 15mm, I bought the 28mm as I like painting them a lot more, but with 15mm you get the 'grander scale' going on, plus euro terrain we all have thanks to Flames.

I have an entire DIVISION of french in 28mm.. so Im not going anywhere with this game, plus Black Powder is an excellent ruleset.

I've been slowing working on some 28mm 1812 Incorporated Militia of Upper Canada that will work as Napoleonic Brits in a pinch. My preferred ruleset is Republic to Empire.

i liked the field of glory rule by osprey, didn't play them enough to really get to know them but they seemed interesting.
