this is the angry joe review from last year after coming back to the game. Its funny when they start talking about tom clancy's the division.
There is a big update to the game coming in the fall called Plains of Eidolon. Its a very impressive game considering its free.

Re: warframe review
I play it on the PC now, i dled it for ps4 but with the fast pace controls i found it an awkward layout trying to press 3 buttons at once. I find with mouse and keyboard its much easier to sprint, jump doing a spiral in the air, while aiming and shooting.
The game play starts out easy, a little to easy, but it gets more difficult later on, the nice thing is its mostly pve co-op play and you can join randoms or just group with friends, or put it on solo if you just want to grind some mats because you just got a blue print of a new warframe and you want to start building it but your lacking a few resources.
The game is a bit grindy but that is because they want to you spend some real money to get stuff, the game isnt pay to win, but you can buy different weapons and warframes with real money, all that does it allow you to start playing that warframe or use a certain weapon, most weapons have a mastery level so you cant just buy the best gun anyways. The neat thing is also there is no best gun or best warframe, each has a different set of skills so it depends on what style you want to play.
You can always buy the blueprints with in game money as well if there is one you want to play since the blueprint drops are random. I'm enjoying it, it fills that fps space and i find it a lot more interesting then play another CoD or other deathmatch game.

Re: warframe review
it just fills my fps need and its free, i starts off slow the monsters are a little dumb, i think so you can learn controls ect, then they get harder. i just enjoy its co-op and there is a good size community, about 40k on at once from steam alone. 36k on atm from steam.

Re: warframe review
it gets preaty deep when you look at mod you can put on each weapon, your warframe, your sentinel ect. Warframes are hard to make, takes a bunch of different blueprints, which are buyable. I've already made a few primary weapons and a secondary and a melee, i have another melee to make just need a few resources.
I made my archewing last night, basically an extra system you equip to fight in space. I'm enjoying it.

Re: warframe review
PC much better, to hard to push 4 buttons at once while aiming. To get warframes blueprints you basically farm the bosses on each planet, they drop a blueprint or rare drop each time you kill them.
each boss drops a specific blueprint from the looks of it, for the basic warframes anyways, i killed the first boss on venus a few times and got rhino blue prints for various parts. so it seems like he is the first warframe you get.
