Pretty comprehensive article,

Good news, nice to see a good variety of lists compared to the main rulebook ones.

Yeah, I like the variety, I think this comes closer to bringing the 'Mercans in like with the Soviets as far as options go,

I saw a preview sales.brochure that got tsken down fast.. but it showed the twin huey plastic bits (engine cowling and new nose) so the kit will work for Nam as well as team yankee

Re: Stripes Info
seems like everyone is up in arms over the inclusion of the M247 Sergeant York and exclusion of the M2 Bradley. The M247 was only a prototype and 50 were built. I just find it funny everyone complaining about fictional vehicles in a fictional war.
Re: Stripes Info
i think they shodul have included the Bradley, but i can see why the york is there, AA is really important in the game,

Re: Stripes Info
York is there for one reason.
they already had plastic M60 hulls - easy add on small sprue for the turret.
Bradley would be all new tooling.
I bet anything it was a financial decision - not a game play one. My VADSs fill the Yorks roll already....

True but there is also the idea if you make what people want they will buy it vs forcing them to buy stuff they don't want just because its cheaper for you to manufacture. When FoW started they had no models and you could use any companies stuff.
Isn't TY a big seller already for battlefront, so why not make a bradley, everyone has been crying for it.
Re: Stripes Info
The bradley.. upgunned m1a1 t80 etc are in the "late war" Team yankee.. aka aroumd 1990 gulf war era while Nam and Middle East Israel conflicts are slated for early war

Re: Stripes Info
Probably wait till pathfinder is done before trying to run an iron kingdom rpg, as for warmachine next fnf i can bring some cryx. Reading the iron kingdom books is making me really want to paint up the rest of my cryx.
