Wow, I'm so exci........wait, no I'm not. Rehashed Metal Gear, another Drake adventure where you pay to watch CGI and they make you 'think' it's a game. No thanks, I'll wait for something good, like when new Xbox comes out.

Pfft.........ok.
You just described almost every game on the xbox also - fan boy.
Re: PS 4 Baby!
I will probably buy this for the exact same reason I bought a PS3.. for the Grand Theft Auto games. Actually Red Dead Redemtion was good too.. hopefully they make a sequel on the new machine. And again Ill probably wait a year until the souped up ones come out and prices come down a bit.

GTA V get's released this year and is platformed for the existing market at the moment. Was supposed to be out early spring, but like Blizzard, Rockstar is also known for it's pushed release dates.
Trist.....don't you own two PS3's and play 0% of them?? Must be a GREAT system...... After selling consoles and seeing countless releases of new systems over the years, I can say that I will take a system that offers the best exclusive releases that interest me and have the most players online for gaming. True, I used to be a huge shooter fan right up until MW3 on PC, but hacks and crappy server down times allowed me to make the jump to Xbox.
Food for thought as to which system is better......MLG uses Xbox, Madden.....Xbox.......if it wasn't for Blue Ray, Sony would be behind in sales to Nintendo Wii. The fact that people want to drop $300 on a system and then burn it out by watching movies on it makes consumers stupid.

Re: PS 4 Baby!
What do you mean by burn it out watching movies? I have had my PS3 for years and have watched tons of blue rays, dvds, netflicks, ect in addition to playing games. Haven't had a single problem with it other then 1 controllering breaking. In fact last Christmas my Dad was on his third blue ray player as they cept crapping out and he always had a few movies that each blu ray player wouldn't play due to disk read errors and such, so we just got him a PS3 to use as a blu ray player and for netflicks and that's it and he hasn't had a single problem since.
I'm still pretty happy with the PS3 but I am sure that I will get a PS4 as soon as a game I want comes out for it, no idea when that will be thou. I most likely won't switch over to an Xbox simply for the fact that I already have so many play station games and stuff bought on the PS Store that I assume the PS4 will be able to play so makes sense to continue over. There are lots of good games for all the systems really so it almost doesn't matter what you have. I have a Wii as well but haven't really played it in years, but I got it on the launch day and there were lots of games I did play on it before so I think even that was worthwhile.
Thanks;
Mike

Or you can buy 6 Xboxs trying to get one that doesn't red ring of death after 2 months of use.
Re: PS 4 Baby!
Yeah but would I want the crappy PS3 version of GTA-V or the shiny new PS4 version? It'l be moot if its also coming out for PC
@Phantom: I don;t know why, but for me it was more the controller.. I HATE the Xbox controller for some reason.. can;t put my finger on it. Also, I enjoy shooters, but not so much on console.. I had MAG and BadCompany 2 on PS3 and while they looked pretty good on ye olde big screen TV, gameplay wise they have nothing on BF3 for example. 64 on 64 maps, with super crisp graphics, and destroyable terrain. I love it. I fired up BF3 up last night for the first time in months after some burnout, and it was great getting a virtual "walkaround" of the BTR-90 and T-90 tank, getting ready to paint the 80s version for my Cold War army I was shocked again at how they got the audio for overflying jet aircraft PERFECTLY.

That is all solved by just watching the movies off a jump drive plugged into the USB port, or an external hard drive like I use
