Re: Wildstar Classes
Getting to level 10 (starter zones):
In terms of AMP allotment, always buff your assault power and crit chance with your first six AMPs. It's a no-brainer and leads to some important AMPs down the line.
It is also important to note here that at level six there will be a quest in every starting zone that has a reward of a tier 2 AMP. This is a mandatory AMP for leveling and max level DPS, so we may as well pick this up now, right?
Also it's highly recommended that you go ahead and get to 8000 reputation to attain "Popular" reputation with your level 6-13 zone of choice so that you can pick up the requisite AMPs available from the quartermasters. A recent change to reputation vendors in the two starting zones (Algoroc and Celestion or Deradune and Ellevar) means that you will be getting different AMPs from each of the two factions, so you may revisit the alternate zones later to get other AMPs.

Re: Wildstar Classes
While dicking around with my character this morning (and accidentally dinging to 5, I guess I was closer to 5 than I thought) I looked into that, but everytime I looked at either the skills and putting pts into them or AMPs it said I had zero points.. does this mean I 'have' the pts but need to go to a trainer to allocate? I am still fuzzy on what 'tree' to go into.. do I just buy all teh skills (like in WOW, SWTOR) and then make my 2 LAS sets? Also, when do we start/decide on crafting? I need a headslot somethign fierce to cover up the fact I'm a skaven engineer

Re: Wildstar Classes
I believe you get start getting skill and amp points at level 10.
The crafting is introduced in the first "Starter Town" around lvl 10 also. We have to finish the little zone we are in, then head there around lvl 6-7.
It all comes in time, be patient and enjoy the ride - we are in no rush, just leveling up together.....
