Ya, it looks pretty badass. But with current prices it's $35 for the T6 f that. I understand you get all your gold out of the game but it's a lot of $$$ to put into a game that may or may not succeed.

Don't think there is any worry whether it will succeed or not.
Side note I got to tier 4 last night lol

Well I already bought the three ship combo package so I'll be set on premiums for now. Also for WoT I bought a billion of the low tier premiums (albeit at 50% off) when in reality for grind crash and exp you really want the tier 8s.
I doubt the final price will be $35... just a lame way to get people to buy more gold now.

And here I thought you had the british roots in you lol. Yeah.. one battle last night I was in my Omaha t5 cruiser and both teams had two warspites... and the enemy were running them together. Two volleys and I was sunk lol..

Don't get me wrong. I think premium vehicles are great, save you a ton of time with faster crew training, credit gains, and heck... One less crew to train up.
A bit gun shy putting my sheckels down as Brit trends tend to be crap in wot, waiting to see what lines I will go down first.

Oh and the warspite got pretty panned in the initial reviews. Slow speed, slow gun traverse, meh number of guns. Great attribute is turn speed.

Short detection range, half decent AA, fast shell speed.. Some on wotlabs call it a queensbury brawler.

Yeah but this being a Wargaming.net game.. the historical vs in game powers, don;t even bother to compare I just can;t wait to see all the fake Russian Navy ships they are going to put in. Canada had a bigger Navy than Russia did in ww2 for gods sakes

Well right now all Russia has ingame is the Aurora(T2), Gremyashchiy (T5), and Murmansk (T4?)
Aurora is apparently a famous Russian ship but it's a POS
Gremyashchiy is a destroyer with slow but cruiser like guns;
Built: 1935-42
In service: 1938-90
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Murmansk (1944). Odd cruiser... bunch of guns on the bow and stern instead of traditional broadsides.

On the wiki for the Gremyashchiy/Gnevny there's the following note:
They suffered from some of the same weaknesses of contemporary Italian ships with structural weakness and limited seaworthiness. There were also significant machinery problems in the earliest ships. The design flaws were apparent after trials of the first units in 1936/7 and production stopped after 30 ships. A modified design was then placed into production as the Type 7U.
Four surviving ships from the Pacific Fleet were transferred to the People's Liberation Army Navy and served as the Anshan class destroyers.
Probably how they are going to have Russian boats be competitive, a mix of more modern and paper boats. And ignore the fact they aren't all that ocean worthy.

So let me see -- here's my 'ideal' shopping list of upcoming 'premium' vehicles in all of these "free" to play games:
WoT: They just released the T-54 first proto... finally a mobile medium T8 prem tank. Around the corner there are "Berlin" editions of the IS-2, ISU-122 and Cromwell (complete with Desert Rat insignia)
WoWS: Tons of premium tanks
AW: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] . Not sold on the game but will be interesting if prem vehicles will always be cheaper

Apparently the Mighty Jingles likes it but he's more English than lemon curd on crumpets.
