Yeah, the thing about XWing though, I'd I feel I could just play with the ones I know and learn about the new ones when play against them.

When a game is only 30min, I don't care if I get pasted by a ship with rules I didn't know about.

I also have armada if people want to use the bigger ships as well. I enjoy Armada more myself I prefer the larger ships and its more like naval fighting.

The last Jedi was a bit weak..

There were parts I liked and a bunch of things I really didn't. On that, why would a bomber need to fly right over abstar destroyer in space.. and if it let go of it's bombs why would they "fall" I need space. It's kinda like they didn't try..

At least they didnt build a multi-thousand kilometre wide gun out of a planet that somehow shoots energy through hyperspace to kill planets. I mean, looking past the logistics of it all, wouldnt the planet have to wait for that perfect time to shoot, since the planet was rotating about its axis, and around the parent star, precession, all that? I know.. a lot to ask from a movie with parsecs and laserswords

I disagree.. these are fundamentally different things.

If the makers of the movie chose to bend physics to make the movie work like inventing laserswords or allowing faster then light travel that's cool cause it's fantasy, like you say.

But, of the makers of the movie just get lazy and have gravity work in space or have light travel faster then light, or have lasers lob through space like artillery that's just lazy.

I like sci-fi, I just don't like lazy..

Yeah, but that was using the force. The force obviously overrides gravity. The force has been used to move things in every movie.. my point is that if the force is not being used physics should work properly.

Another example is lightsabers are explained by the chrystals they use. The explanation doesn't have to be strong but they have to try.

Light doesnt follow a parabolic path through space, and bombs don't fall from bombers in space..

Ref your spoiler, that was silly for a bunch of reasons, but the physics wasn't really one of them..

Whats magic is that they are still making new star trek.

The new star wars movie is garbage, it destroys every character in the series and what they represent. Rian Johnson just wanted to fuck the whole star wars universe which he did perfectly, I don't know who read the script and was like "ya this is perfect we can completely rewrite every star wars character who cares about what they did in the past."

I'm all fairness, I actually think that they are developing Kylo and Rey's characters very well, pretty much all the other character development was horrible as you say.

It was a pleasant surprise when the ewok puffins did have any dialogue.. I was worried they were the new jar jar..

I love how FF was like screw the new stuff were going with the Admiral Thrawn story for armada and releasing his ship rather then include stuff from the new one like they did for x-wing, hopefully they will stay with the old stuff and not start making the new order ships.

Right now I have everything up to wave 3, they are up to wave 7 now, each wave was basically 1 ship per side. I'm going to pick the stuff up just for my personal collection but haven't been in a rush since we haven't been playing it.

I can also buy the Armada campaign and we can try that out see how it works its its cheep like 30 bucks. its just tokens and rules basically and a few new squadron cards (the small ships like xwings and tie fighters) Its designed for 2 to 6 players.

ps what development, spend 10 days with luke and your a jedi master?
