Adam's Canadian Nationals 1780LW 7AD American List. Opinions?

Hey Guys,

Long time. I hope everyone is well.

I wanted to get your opinions on my Late War list for Nationals that I'm playing with.

The overall theme is LOTS of stuff on the board, so basically target saturation when I do reveal myself. I've gone with 9 priests so I can leapfrog them up and lift GtG with the recons and use them as heavy breakthrough to soften up infantry before the 3 ARPs smash into their ranks.

For AT at ranged my plan is to use the short TD Hellcats and the two observer Shermans in tandem with each other to threaten flanks. Basically they can present their armour assets to the shermans and get shot int he flanks by the TDs or vice versa.

The 57mm guns will actually get zombied. So their commander along with the bazook upgrades will get paired up with the 2iC and command bazook to go running off on their own (likely to support the TD/Sherman OBs group to deal with Armor close up while the 57s hang back and cover firing lanes.

So here is the list. Would LOVE your opinions on it.

Awesome, except I am bitter my FF Armored Rifle platoons are more expensive by 40 points and have 2 less Bazookas each

I love the ten platoons though!

Small thing Adam...you said its a 1780 list in the title, but you posted 1795 as your points total?

Har har. No, not anymore. It did cause I got greedy upgrading the observer tanks. I've taken that out now.

Nope, Cdn Nationals (not invite only) is in July in AB, despite some rumors otherwise I suppose!

It's more of a regional event seeing as pretty much the top 25 players are in Ontario and not out West.

That's why it's not invite only. And I still really wonder why the west of Canada was chosen for our Nationals when the overwhelmingly large player base is in Ontario.

Probably are having it out west because I guess Sentry box can have it in Calgary, and I am sure Terrain Guy had a hand in getting something going over there. Maybe they reckoned US nationals is half teh distance away for us an so leave something for the western folks to go to?

At least its not in Toronto, like everything else.. I hate Toronto
