Crusaders are recce teams?

Anyone have their Africa book handy? Seems my Aus Cav has options for recce I have not been using. I was early into the game and the mechanics of it. Is it just me or are the elements of my Crusader platoon a Recce platoon. If that's the case, this list could be more viable than what I have been playing. Might even be worth increasing the number of Crusaders, even with their shitty guns. If I can break off and do recon moves, it would be worth it.

Which list are you based off of? Light Armored or Armored? I don't know North Africa lists that well...

Both seem to use UCs or armored cars for Recce, I don't see where Crusaders can be recce.....

Below combat platoons. The header for each is recon, including the carriers. I only have access to easy army at the moment but looks to me like its a Reece option for each combat platoon. Which would make sense since there is an option for Stuart's as well.

The other 3 choices are all RECCE and then on the right it breaks down regular Armoured or Infantry Support. Looks to me like the Aussies just got better.....

They would have to have a listing on page #149 saying they are recce platoons..........my Cromwells are "Armored Recce" also, but dont have the recce rule....

BAH! No such luck.....odd way they have it for some, but yeah I found the box under the Uni Carriers that is specific to naming them as RECCE.
Maybe something we see in the future like that way they have done with Blood, Guts and Glory

No its just the one list, and they are in the Recce section despite not having the rule, just so you can get 3 armoured units in that list. Kind of like Cromwells are under "Armoured Recce" in Turning Tides, despite not having the rule.
