I thought there was a list where british tanks (cromwells I think) lost semi indirect and gain reroll to hit when moving in short range,

I can't find it though,

do you guys know what I'm talking about, or am I out to lunch?

You are thinking Crusaders vs Shermans in MW I think. Crusaders have Tally Ho, which if armed with 2lbr gun lets them move and shoot 2 shots with no penalty if within 16, also Broadside which means the turret facing is always front armor, no 4+, lose Semi-indirect.

Market Garden P97 (Joe Vandeleur)

-> Guns Left! A force including Vandeleur does not use the Semi-Indirect Fire special rule. Instead Sherman V and Fireflys get re-rolls to hit at short range if they have moved.

Also I know there's a Cromwell list that you are talking about , Tristan used to run it.

I mainly ran Cromwells from Armored Squadron out of Turning Tide and  Armored Recce Squadron (11th or Guards) out of Market Garden

The 11th in Overlord book has potential too...

i couldn't find any mention of the option to move and re-roll to hi in inside 16 inches,

was it a special character that did this?
