Historicon 2017
Its the last one in Fredericksburg. So I am heading down with Her Royal Highness and doing the touristy thing on the way down, then I am doing Team Yankee Nationals and maybe V4 Nationals too.

Re: Historicon 2017
I've been to Historicon once and had a blast. I meant to play all sorts of different games but ended up hanging out with Clarence Harrison and Barry Hilton at their amazing table playing Republic to Empire. Makes me sad I let my Napoleonics moulder without every playing the game.
Not a chance this year...
Won't be able to make this one, but in 2018 it'll be moving closer to the border!
Stoked it will be in Lancaster, PA and not New Jersey as was planned.

Which scale Naps Coyote? A bunch of years ago, a few guys bought in to 15mm Naps, we played a few games and then it petered out, with only a few guys assembling it even. Since then, with Black Powder ruleset, some of us have been playing 28mm but if you have 15mm there are guys with armies of that as well

Re: Historicon 2017
I have 28s. I have Black Powder which I came out the same time as Republic to Empire but I prefer Republic to Empire. My project petered out partially because I was doing War of 1812 and there just weren't any American miniatures that I liked for the period.
Sometimes I think I should switch to 10mm since I can "convert by paint" for the Americans plus I can reach the "big battalion" size I'm going for much quicker and for less money. Still, those 28s look so good.
I have nearly 20 figures painted of the 30 required for my first unit. All told I was planning 300 figures a side.
