"Forest people - Walcheren i Scheldt - hello Buffalo"
Who has woodman rule -- Canadians? Also there's the reference ot the Scheldt...
In World War II the estuary once again became a contested area. Despite allied control of Antwerp, in September 1944 German forces still occupied fortified positions throughout the Scheldt estuary west and north, preventing any allied shipping to the port. In the Battle of the Scheldt, the Canadian First Army successfully cleared the area, allowing supply convoys direct access to the port of Antwerp by November 1944.

German heroes:
Euling - Joins the SS Sperrverband, All your platoons always start dug in, and Jagdpanzers can start in assault gun pits, and dont count for armoured reserves.
Sonnenstuhl - Artillery Staff team hero, can combine bombardments, and gives his battery the Time on Target rule
Graebner and VDH look the same, although VDH can now join the FT FJ too.
Knaust - Has a wooden leg, can only move 4" per turn when on foot. Can use Eyes and Ears, and I think Cautious movement. Can call in artillery without the +1, and gives you a reserves re-roll.
Archer TD - Armour 1/1/0, Slow Tank, Awkward Layout, Hull mounted 17pdr (late), AA MG, 220 points for 4 CT, 290 for CV.
6pdrs are AT 11, with a small points increase. 17pdrs are AT 15, keep SiF, and Fireflies are about 20 points more expensive. Balanced by regular Shermans dropping to 80 points per CV. A full 11th Armoured platoon with 2 Shermans, 2 Fireflies is now 425.
As far as lists go, these books are awesome. Everything just looks downright FUN. The germans are throwing even the kitchen sink in, and the Canadians get a huge increase in coolness.
From German MG battalions, 8.8cm flak companies, CT Tigers for 145 points each, you get everything. Fallschirmjager finally get their foot scouts, and SS armoured trucks are badass. 107th PB is in with CT Panthers.
For the airborne, the poles get Guards or 11th armoured tank platoons, everyone except Frost keeps Medium Battery Support. Commandos can take 2 slots of NGFS, in either AT6/FP1+, or AT4/FP3+ varieties. British lists look similar, JOE is still in, hasnt changed. The Canadians get Defrocked Priests, armoured trucks, and Ram APCs, which look awesome. Armour 5/3/0, with deck turret MGs.
They get PIAT batteries on universal carriers, with a 24" bombard range, they sound hilarious. All the Canadians are CV, too, including the Dragoons.
As you can probably tell, I'm really excited for these books. Might make my next tourney MG themed. Anything else you want me to look at tomorrow, let me know, Im back at the store actually playing.
Finally incentive to actually paint my kraut 105s?

huh ... they used to be AT13. Wonder what the new points cost will be:
Pak43, At 16, 40", immobile, turnable :: ~110 pts per
17lbs AT13 , 32", immobile, no HE :: ~40 pts per
17lbs AT15 , 32", immobile, no HE :: ~60-70 pts per?
