Cold Wars 2018
So i just got ba k.. 8hrs door to door. Cold Wars was good.. was the ringer for Team Yankee and played in the Flames tourney. I think Ill gear down on US tourneys going forward.. but ot was still a good con. It actually was the most organized and troublefree registration process ever. Which is to say its still complete balls. I bought most of what I need for me.. a few things I couldnt find. They have demolished the old vendor hall and rebuilt a new larger one.. but its still super shitty location haha. Ive seen the future though.. for gaming... Lemme unwind and take a few pics of the coolest best looking models of all time

Glad you're back. Not sure what gearing back on events they only really have two of, unless it wasn't that fun?
The 3D printed commander is pretty cool. I think Historicon will be better without the 14 hour drive, must have been some construction in PA as usual on your way down/back.
Let me know how much you need for the shirts.

Well seeing a small company able to print any tank in WW2 for around same price as Battlefront was eye opening.

Re: Cold Wars 2018
I would be interested in the printer they used..... Kelly said I can buy one when I get back!!!! Honestly I am not sure there would be any value in it. Don't get me wrong there would be some very cool stuff, but most of the printed stuff I have seen takes way too long and I don't find the finish product all that appealing. Now that being said, Dennis's |Command figures put a whole new light on it. If I could do that at home, that would rock! I will have to wait until I go to Fall In later this year after I get back, hopefully they will be there. I can check out the printer itself.
If anyone knows anything about 3D printers and has comments and recommendations I am all ears. From my online searches and reading here I am still a bit wary at the moment of the investment.

Re: Cold Wars 2018
A friend of mine has a printer. He's done up a whole Lav company with his. He gave me one and the quality is quite good. Its also the same size as my BF ones. I've asked him to post here with some advice. I think he told me it takes five hours to print a Lav 25, but the cost in plastic is minimal.
Scott, if you ever do get one, I'd like you to make some ASLAV/Coyote turret bustles for my BF Lav 25s.

Re: Cold Wars 2018
well no, Bob was playing a random game, while I was in the team Yankee event. So while it wasn't a tournament game to test out scenarios (Toronto GT 2001 debacle) it was still a game where Bob had used up his one game ticket to guarantee a game, and it turns out his side can;t win after turn 2 because of the ridiculous scenario??? I told him I would have just walked along with the rest of the Germans, to prove a point to the GM guy The GM's grand-son was so annoying (some 16 year old kid) that I would have left because of him

I like the Crac de Chevalier guys painting style that is on the Blog list. His vehicles are nice and the detail on his figures is a little insane even by my standard!!
