Planetside was cool, but again, there is no reason to ever defend, and while its neat for a while to own territory, in 30 minutes it could all be gone because you got Zerged, and no one wants to defend because you get more Certs for attacking not defending (the Crown notwithstanding)

You do get a small defensive bonus when defending -- not enough to be meaningful when getting face-stomped by a zerg but it helps. Note that the last 5gig patch redid a lot of the bases (spawns, etc) so they are ton more defensible. But given that it runs like ass on my computer I'm not going to play if others aren't.

D, you make enough money, you can AFFORD a good rig that can run BF3 on high-ultra.. cmon! join in the good times. Nothing beats turning a Paris apartment building to rubble using nothing more than a T-90 tank

Well your jaw will hit the floor when you play BF3 on pimped out graphics. The audio is also very very good and accurate.

I downloaded EvE client again recently, but didnt resub.

I find that most of the time I am now painting/modelling when at my PC, listening to podcast and such........or watching TV/Movie on PLEX.

well you could be mining at the same time, my biggest complaint about EVE atm is walking around, its so clunky even after a year, they just threw it in so you can "see" your toon and that they can make real money off microtransactions of people buying clothes.

Well.. I resubbed EVE, just to see.

Chatted with the WWPD guys and Lothlann on their TS server, did a lvl 4 mission with some guys, Jon showed me the power of the new salvaging cruiser (Holy tits!) and then I went up to help some guys mine. Other guys were doing small scale PVP and bagged a few ships, I think they were hunting folks doing Incursions or something. Seemed there was stuff to do. Worse case scenario: IM out a whopping 14 bucks if I hate it .

I painted 6 Arcane Tempest Gun Mages and their Officer...........and it cost me nothing :p
