Napoleonics - Basing Questions

Do you guys know how anywhere it shows how to base models? I want to start putting my Jagers/Grenzers together but thinking they dont go together like line infantry.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] scroll down, pics of light infantry.. they are sometimes supposed to be less guys (so one row) in a line, and then another row of bases where they are in open order.  OR you leave the light infantry in single rows on bases and have "Skrimshing" markers since they can change formations.   For tomorrow night I am running greatcoat dudes as my light infantry, for the demo game.. but I want to order actual light infantry.. probably the Baden guys (Where I lived in Germany) when we make an order. After doing some quick math, I don't have THAT many infantry bases when converting to 3x2 on each 40x30.. so I am going to keep all infantry I have now as line infantry and buy a blister of light infantry and probably heavy cav.

traditionally Jagers are skirmishers as they were smaller units then line infantry. Not sure for the game rules though.
