Infinity Rules?

Anyone have the starter box or know anything about the date for the new ruleset? Checking their site there seems to be nothing mentioned.

i got an email from wayland games saying that due to the high demand and lack of stock the starter set would be delayed.

starter set doesn't have the rules though... only scenarios.

It comes with a mini rulebook and scenarios.

I think it's just a quick start rules not a full rule book thou, no word on when the new book will be out but apparently sometime this year is what people say.

It's still the old rules on the site. Which is weird because some people have received their starter box already.

i ordered mine threw wayland, because they had preorder before corvus belli, corvus belli probably mailed all the preorders threw their site before shipping to companies like wayland. I ordered from wayland early when they first had the preorder offer so i'm sure mine will be in fairly soon.

This is because the full version of 3rd edition is not out yet. If you read the description of the box set on their website it even says it right in the description "an Introductory rule set". You can watch them playing it in the beast of war videos and they probably even flip some of the pages. It only contains the rules and weapon profiles for the units in that box and some are simplified (I believe they even have everyone using a combi-rifle). Why they haven't put up a pdf of the introductory rules I have no idea, but from what I have read sales of the set are already way higher then they had predicted and delivery of some of them are delayed, so I don't think that more hype is really needed.

According to the rumors I have come across the full rules are supposed to come out maybe black Friday but no idea if that is true, but this set does not contain a mini-rulebook ala the 40k sets unfortunately.
