Well I stopped playing War Chunder when they turned the XP and lvling into a grindfest... Maybe I should revisit it.. I loved having ONLY HISTORICAL VEHICLES hahaha.

It's like wot. But with better graphics, questionable physics, more RNG. More historically accurate.

So I fired this up the other night. WAY better than world of warplanes.. but the tank part suffers from only having German and Soviet tanks at the moment. There are more ground strike missions in the random queue, so that the win conditions are not tied to enemy aircraft killed but killing enemy PVE targets/defending your own PVE targets. So I tweaked my British Squadron to be all bombers (Typhoon and Beaufighter kitted with bombs too, 3 x Wellingtons for power) and its so much fun. Torpedoeing enemy battleships is still next to impossible by virtue of all the enemy AA is aimed at you.. you need friends to take some heat off you for it to work out.

I saw that they have the T-35 heavy soviet land battleship early on in the soviet tank tree.. I might have to tech to that

also if you get a kill in tank mode you can get plane spawns, you can be called in to jump in a plane in the tank map for a limited time, usually to shoot down an enemy bomber or ground strike craft (unless you get enough kills to be the bomber yourself). Damage is based on actually taking out critical parts of the tank rather then HP based, which mean you can be 1 shot. It shows the kill cam and the exact trace of the shot through the hull and what it hit, ammo, crew, ect. I like how it works. The tanks drive like Tokyo drift though, you slide sideways if your going fast and try to turn, feels very arcade, mind you i am playing in arcade mode and not realistic.

you use the same crew for planes as tanks, so i bought a new slot for tank crews (since you have to level them up as pilots or/and tank) that way i can keep my planes separated from the tanks. Not that i'm going to play this game much, but it is different then WoT, the maps are huge compared.

Oh yeah for sure.. my Wellington takes about 5 minutes to cruise out over the main base compared to like 45 seconds in World of warplanes.. and by then I am usually besieged by fighters if they started to climb at game start..
