Hey guys, just dropping you a line after this morning's Announcement. So you guys know we are not changing the point value for November's event, however we know now that next year's nationals will be mid war 1710. See you guys in November

1900 points Late War is insane - think of the Confident Trained US lists that will be coming in that range.......damn hard to beat!

yeah but this only applies to Cdn Nationals and/or Historicon for us.. our own TOs can set whatever cockamaymy amounts they want !

No big deal. Besides, of Cdn Nationals is LW again I won;t even bother. I am so sick of LW that I am aiming to only go to Pet in 2 weeks, and thats that.

which nationals? And no offence? Its been changed with a few months' notice before too hahaha., If it is Midwar then I am going to Historicon. If its LW then no. EW I will def go... but maybe with Honey Stuart Horde.

If Nats is LW I'm definitely in, but on the fence about another MW one, last one was really bland for me, as all the German armies I faced were almost identical. EW I'd consider playing in.

i don't even think i could run a 1900 point fin list, i think i'd run out of unit choices...

BF mandates rotation of periods, so its EW or MW automatically.

MW was chosen because quite frankly, EW would not generate the required numbers.

Remember our EW event in pet? I think we had 9 guys?

At 1710 I think we'll see plenty of new lists(Or the same lists with Elephants)

I see MW benefiting the most from the increase. Should allow for more varied lists, as the books those lists come from are far more balanced.

Changing up the points every year is a decent idea, but these numbers seem a bit crazy to me, but I have never ever played a game that high in points so maybe it works I have no idea. I'm not really a fan of mid war, find it to be bland and boring somehow, but willing to give it a go from time to time. It seems that people gravitate to the late-mid options that are practically late war anyway, but would be very interesting to have a desert only tournament or something.
