So Marty after chatting Sunday; I finally remembered to fire use them Monday evening (for the x5s). Normally I forget, they are additive after all (a x2 becomes a x3, a x5 becomes a x6) so who cares when you use them?

Well crew XP is multiplicative! ie: I got a 1100 base exp game in the Blackdog -- with the prem bonus that's 1725. Then with the 200% exp bonus that would be x6 = 10,350. And since I was running 200% crew exp that became 20,700 per crewman. And I guess 41,400 for one lucky crewman because accelerated crew training was on?

No idea how that stacks with on-track stuff; didn't pull up the Type61 game :/ Also don't recall how the +50% crew training from being a prem vehicle factored in.

O-I

Hull traverse of the O-I tracks reduced from 20->16 degrees/s
Hull traverse of the O-I Kai tracks reduced from 22->18 degrees/s
Weapon spread when moving on the O-I Kai tracks increased by 11%
Weapon spread when turning on the O-I Kai tracks increased by 22%
Reload of the 10cm Cannon Type 92 in the O-I turret increased from 11.1 to 12 seconds
Weapon spread when turning the turret for the 10 cm Cannon Type 92 increased by 14%
Reload of the 15 cm Howitzer Type 96 for the O-I turret increased from 25->26
Weapon spread when turning the turret for the 15 cm Howitzer Type 96 increased by 12%
Turret traverse of the O-I turret reduced from 20->18 degree/s
Horsepower reduced from 970 to 950.

For the same reasons why the O-I exp was changed, the changes to the combat effectiveness of this machine brings it more in line with its "classmates". Basically, the changes will affect its aiming and stabilization. (mobility?)

Seems like they are continuing to add some of the most popular non-stats functionality from XVM / mods, ie:
Added two additional levels of zoom: x16, x25
Changed the capture indicator. It now displays of the number of players capturing the base, as well as the time to complete the capture

Rumour is they will be cracking down on mods.

Also of interest:
When playing in platoon, you will be given a bonus to the experience, which will depend on the tier, in which the players had a fight


Not sure I like this; IMHO platoons (good or bad skill levels) already have an overrated influence on the battles outcome. This will only increase lopsided results if there's more platooning going on.

i like the mod that shows the drawbox, view rang and radio range,

but TBH i can't be bothered with downloading mods anymore,

I think if they did what World of Ships does, and limit the match-making to only one platoon per side, it would mitigate the RNG if you get two good platoons on one side and two fail (AKA, Dennis platoons) on the other.

OR take into consideration the aggregate player skill ratings when deciding which platoons go on which side.

Only problem with that is WG's Personal Rating is a bit crap for actually evaluating skill (ie: # of battles is a bit component -- so that players always feel like they are improving).

They hotfixed it that night. Adam tried to do it later on in the evening he said and it was already not working.

Not that I play WoT anymore, but Sabaton signed a contract with WoT so that's cool.

Thy put a lot of their music into paradox games. Guess it's only natural to move into WoT.

I wonder if it will go beyond loading screens and advertising videos.

Fyi : next patch wotbis adding a 30v30 mode but I think it's only for tier 10s

Looks like they will be releasing a Sabaton edition of the Strv 81 [basically a Swedish tier 8 medium premium tank that's for all in intents and purposes a Centurion 1 in novelty camouflage].
