Team Yankee in WWII
So i was thinking,
Its too bad that Battlefront didn't make TY compatible with WWII,
I feel like the armour / pen etc could have all been done in a way that you could play WW2 tanks against M1A1s, all you woiudl have to do is say: if you are playing 1500 points LW that is = to 500 points of TY.
I just feel it unfortunate they didn't capitalize on this, it woudl have been a nice gimmick to work into the game, id love to see Chaffees swarm T70s with troops jumping out of haltracks to try and blow up the tanks.
anyway, what can you do

Re: Team Yankee in WWII
I have a feeling new edition of FOW will be closer to Team Yankee than the other way around

Re: Team Yankee in WWII
well actually if they did move the new edition a little closer to FoW there may be some value in that, i expect it would regenerate a bit of interest in the game..
Just so long as the don't Age of Sigmar it..

Yeah true
THough I thought it was dumb at first I LOVE the cards system for units. THough I am tempted to 'tap my Sukhoi's to attack your M1 Abrams for 27 AT damage" as if they were magic cards

lol,
It will be interesting to see what they do,
A lot of the change in mechanics has more to do with reflecting modern technology, like morale, smoke into open fields, etc.

Only advantage of the system in TY is that there aren't a whole lot of variety to units. If they do go with cards for FoW Edition+1 that they don't pull a WK40K edition and reduce all of the Pz3/4 variants down to 2 tanks.

Yeah, the variety in FoW is awesome, it would suck if they dumb it down
