40k 7th Edition Late May!?!
So, internet rumors are all abuzz over 40k 7th release this month!
I am tempted to see what they have changed, as I had fun in 5th, but HATED 6th. Glad I still have my Chaos, just IN CASE it improves.
I am not however, holding my breath............
Rumored starter set will be Blood Angels and Orks:
Blood Angels (suitably bedazzled)
- Brother-Captain w/JumpPack
- Tactical Squad (10)
- Assault Squad (5)
- Terminator Squad (5)
- Dreadnaught with Autocannon and Multi Melta (?)
- Limited Edition: Sanguinary Priest
Orks
- Warboss
- Weirdboy
- Shoota Boyz Mob (10 or 20, conflicting reports)
- Slugga Boyz Mob (10 or 20, conflicting reports)
- Kommandoz Mob (5)
- Mega-nobz Mob (5)
Extras
- "Orkified" Aegis Defense Line (no gun)
- Misc. small Objectives
Don't be surprised to see the starter paint set change to Blood Angels.

Bell of Lost Souls has fairly comprehensive coverage,
Personally im looking forward to Fielding all 5 of my Wraithlords.
Maybe even a The Phoenix Court of Khaine!

All but guaranteed now. Like Brad said BOLS pretty much has it nailed down since it's so close. I'm excited to see what changes.
Re: 40k 7th Edition Late May!?!
there is a rumour about unbound lists - essentially no force org, just field what you have,
if that the case i'm interested to see if they try and make it work, or if it is just sillyness,

Am I reading the GW site correctly? $100. I can't see paying $100 anytime soon.

Yeah............$100 for JUST the rule books.
I just ordered a 2 player starter set, command decks and templates for $120 (Dropzone Commander). Its like $200 of models alone............
GW has to get their head out of their ass soon......real soon.........

That book was made with 7th in mind.
And $100 for the rulebooks isn't bad. The Italy books alone were $85 when I was in fandom yesterday. Each company had good and bad deals. 40k starter sets are still the way to go for rules and a tonne of models.
I'm stoked for the new 40k. Looks like a lot of loopholes have been closed.
Re: 40k 7th Edition Late May!?!
Err also...buy the 40k rulebooks at Historicon. They are 20% off US price their at the warstore. So they will be like $60ish USD.

Good plan. I also got my 6th Ed mini bo8k by buying the DA set and selling all the models. Actually got rid of everything fairly quickly.

I'll buy the hardcover rules at histo. Provided battlefoam isn't there, if they are well...that's my money lol
Re: 40k 7th Edition Late May!?!
Are they making a new starter?
I saw rumors, but then it looked like a re-release of Dark Vengeance with a new rulebook?
