Not bad,
I finished 10 points off from the highest and 10 points of from the lowest
Was a good time,

Re: Good Luck @ Nats!
And my result was artifically high, what with the stupid BYE points.. I should have been lets say 24 or 25 points.. Well done though, we got a decent amount of folks out to something that was in doubt a few months ago

Re: Good Luck @ Nats!
The points only really mean anything if you are in third place or higher thou, and generally byes are given to the people in last place. So don't think that is a big deal really as long as it is reasonable. I once went to a magic tournament at wizards tower thou and after I lost my first game they gave me 2 byes in a row out of 4 games. So I just never went back ever again.
Bit harsh to highlight my name way at the bottom hah.
That shirt is pretty sweet have to admit.
Thanks;
Mike

Re: Good Luck @ Nats!
Looks like we could have sent that cup back to Petawawa! Or do they have it already?? We had a pretty good turn out of out of towners, one more per 'guest' and it's easy to hi 50+
I had a BYE two years ago in the US Nationals, it's not fun but the free points are a little nice. Should almost be assumed that there needs to be a 'ringer' or something like that in case you have an uneven amount of players. In this case, the player had a emergency from what I understand and could not stay to finish the day or the event.

Agreed,
Getting a bye a tourney sucks
A ringer is a good idea
I have played in tourneys where the TO is the ringer, but that's pretty hard to do at 50+ players,

Re: Good Luck @ Nats!
I was the ringer for this one, and would have extorted my 50 bucks out of Lou if I didnt play the whole event One game is fine
