I'd be up to it. Though I have a feeling that it will feel unbalanced just cause we don't have the full rules or the rules for most of the support units.

They seem to aim for about $100.00 USD (eg. Great War sets, Plastic Russian, German, American sets.)

So probably a safe bet in that ball park, give or take a $10-20.

Again.. not knowing how six tanks and two helos makes a force without the infantry and apcs. If I get two russian sets I'd have total fivr hind d and 25 t 72's lol.

Cool, re: the contents. Sad to say, the Zvezda Hind looks better. I'll do a compare when I get my hands on the Russkie boxset. Thank god I already have the infantry painted.

Yup. It looks as though an American player can probably grab two army boxes, a blister of infantry, and a few support pieces and be good to go.

The Russian player will probably want 2-3 boxes, a couple blisters of infantry, another box of BMP's, and some support.

I guess it depends on how much helicopters you can fit into a list. It could be that these boxes are really well priced but the aircraft makes it unfeasible to buy a bunch of them.

If the inf and transports scale like the Motor Rifles (ie either 12, 8, 6 or 4 BMPs) then the helo's are going to be ok as well. I probably dont NEED to have 25 T-72s.. but I'l have them Smile

I'm tempted to buy some M1s. Then paint them up in the Nato 3 colour pattern and use my Canadians in M113s for the infantry.

November 27 has been announced as the official launch date for Team Yankee. I'll have to get over to Randy's and see if he can order me the rulebook, so that I can have those exclusive objective markers which I will probably never use.

Went to Fandom II at lunch today and talked to Randy. He ordered the rulebooks but didn't say how many. Looks like they order a package deal of some sort. He said only one other person has inquired, so if more people ask Randy about it, the more stuff he will order. I don't want it to be all sold out on the 27th because Randy thought there was little interest (which is what he thinks now).
